THE SPACE
This stunning Eastern White Pine log chalet sleeps 8 and is built for families and small groups — up to 6 adults and 2 children. Three bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large open living/dining great room, and a massive covered deck. Two levels of living space plus a finished basement give everyone room to spread out.
The heart of the house is a 400 sq ft living/dining great room under a 22-ft cathedral ceiling, anchored by a working wood-burning fireplace. Sliding doors open onto the 450 sq ft covered deck — outdoor seating and dining, a gas grill, and a hot tub you can soak in year-round. Out in the yard, a fire pit ringed by eight Adirondack chairs is the spot for s'mores and stargazing after a day on the mountain. GUEST ACCESS
You have the entire home and property to yourselves. Park in the large driveway, or pull up to two cars under the deck to stay out of the weather. There are steps up to each floor, including the main entrance.
Winter access: the house sits on a private road, plowed when snow reaches about 3 inches. Some residual snow is normal during storms and 4-wheel drive is recommended. The plow service doesn't clear the entry steps, but a broom and shovel are right there and it's a quick job.
