This truly stunning and beautifully renovated 1870s farmhouse sits atop a granite ledge at the quiet end of Watts Avenue. Surrounded by a well-manicured and sprawling lawn, the property abuts a quiet wood and is just a 10-minute walk to Tenants Harbor Village. There, you will find the Town Landing, a well-stocked general store, a post office, a fabulous library, several small shops, and restaurants. Port Clyde Village (home of the Marshall Point Lighthouse and Monhegan Island Ferry) and sandy Drift Inn Beach are just a 10-minute drive away – and the larger seaside cities of Rockland and Camden are also close by.
The house is open, airy, sunny, and a perfect combination of classic details and modern elements. The living area of the first floor is large and open with a gorgeous and sunny dining room flowing into the kitchen. The kitchen has high ceilings, granite countertops, and high-end appliances and cookware. Its breakfast bar is a welcoming spot overlooking the deck. The crown jewel of the first floor is the den with vaulted ceilings, built-in bookshelves, plenty of comfortable seating, and a stunning gas fireplace.
