The chalet's location is superb -- close to skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming, and other water sports plus shopping, dining, sporting, and cultural attractions. Each summer, the IRONMAN competition passes right through our town of Wilmington!

Bedroom Details:
Olympic Dreams Chalet sleeps 12 people. There are 4 bedrooms, 1 with a queen sized bed and 3 with king-sized beds. It comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms. 2 queen size foam mattresses are available that can accommodate up to 4 additional people. If there are 12 guests, please know space will be tight but you're on vacation and are free to decide what you prefer.

Each lovely bedroom has warm, stylish colors and tasteful decor for a luxurious stay. The beds are comfortable and inviting for a restful night sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Extra pillows are on the beds for your enjoyment and spare blankets are available for chilly nights.

All bedrooms have closets and drawer space for unpacking. The main and upper-level bedrooms have ceiling fans to enable greater air circulation. For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th we are pleased to provide A/C in the main and upper-level bedrooms and living room.

Bedrooms have ceiling lighting as well as side table lamps that offer a softer glow for watching TV or relaxing.

All bedrooms are equipped with a flat-screen television with basic cable channels.

Bathroom Details:
The bathrooms in this amazing chalet are spotlessly clean and comfortable. There is ample ceiling and over sink lighting in all bathrooms. Mirrored medicine cabinets and vanities offer space with which to store your belongings. The upper and main level bathrooms boast custom showers with glass doors. The lower level bathroom has a shower tub combination and bidet. All bathroom fixtures are elegant and simple to use. There is ample water pressure and lighting in each bathroom. We think you'll find each one immaculate and lovely.

Kitchen:
Our kitchen is a chef's dream! With expansive granite counter tops and a full complement of tools and appliances, you'll enjoy preparing fantastic meals for the entire crew! Stools around the table bar area enable your group to eat and gather all together. Wireless internet plus local phone calling (USA only) are conveniently provided. Long distance calls are not included; however, you can call over wifi using appropriate apps.

Outdoor Living:
The outdoor living space at Olympic Dreams Chalet is sure to please with fantastic amenities to help you maximize your vacation enjoyment. Wooded views from the deck, an extension of the home's main level, are lovely. The deck contains a 5-person hot tub, dining table, and chairs. The yard offers plenty of room for playing and enjoying the great outdoors as well as a fire pit for making s'mores and memories with family and friends. Adirondack chairs are provided.

Additional Information:
For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th we are pleased to provide the main and upper-level bedrooms and living room with air conditioning units.

The following items are minimally supplied (only enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dish, laundry, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We do not supply kitchen spices, condiments, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, body soaps, or charcoal.

A plow service shovels snow (above 5 inches) in winter. Sand and a snow shovel are available on the front deck for guest use.

The location of Olympic Dreams Chalet is perfect for couples, families, adventurers, nature lovers, shoppers, foodies and everyone else! For children, Olympic Dreams Chalet is indeed a dream! With a large yard in which to run and play amongst trees and rocks, it's like nature's playground! Children will delight in combing the grounds for dead wood to stock the outdoor fire pit and -- once the fire is roaring -- roasting marshmallows, making s'mores and sharing stories from the day!

The home is ideally situated, just 1 mile from Whiteface Mountain Resort; a 15-minute drive from Lake Placid; and steps from hiking trails that vary from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails. Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 3-minute drive from the chalet.

Boasting over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails and 11 lifts, Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies and features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders, expert glades, and slides for the advanced and loads of trails for everyone in between! The longest run is the 2.1 mile 'Wilmington Trail' and total skiing and snowboarding trails stretch over 22 miles. Whiteface Mountain is truly fun for everyone! In summer, Whiteface offers splendid views, gondola rides, mountain biking, extreme tubing and more.

Lake Placid is a beautiful 15-minute drive from Wilmington along NYS Route 86. Wilmington Notch on the way is breathtaking and has been designated part of the Olympic Scenic Byway. Hiking trailheads and beautiful High Falls Gorge are accessible right from the road!

A charming, all season resort town, Lake Placid boasts a Main Street; unique, locally owned shops; loads of dining options; sporting and cultural events, movie theatre, mini golf and waterfront park where live music is featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets, delis and other conveniences.

Olympic Dreams Chalet is kept clean and the owners and rental team take tremendous pride in ensuring that it is perfect for each guests vacation. Our handyman service is on call 24-hours a day for any issue that may arise during your stay.

All USA & Canadian Holidays* are subject to a minimum of 3 to 6 night stays at the discretion of the Owner. In Summer months the chalet is available for rent Saturday to Saturday only. Two (2) night stays are considered at the discretion of the Owner. There is a cleaning fee, Damage Protection Policy fee and 3% Essex County bed tax.

The Damage Protection fee covers accidental damage to furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows, doors, and any resource of the home up to $1,500. If damages exceed $1,500 guests agree to cover the difference.
