We rent our home weekly Friday to Friday in the summer months. Weekends are available outside the summer season. Safe travels and enjoy beautiful York, Maine!

I purchased the house in the Fall of 2022 and completed a renovation of the lower level in Spring 2023. All linens/towels provided. New front deck put on in Spring 2023 along with a new firepit and new outdoor furniture seating up to 14 guests. New appliances and new propane grill in 2023. Our home is located 0.6 miles from Long Sands Beach at the end of a quiet dead-end road; no traffic or noise from vehicles. All new furniture was purchased on 2023. The large grass yard provides privacy and space to relax. The outdoor shower was installed in 2023. The house layout: a second floor with 2 queen beds and office desk, a main floor with living room, kitchen, full bathroom and 3 bedrooms with 1 queen each and with the home's lower level having a full bathroom and queen bedroom. The outdoor shower is located on the rear of the home near the driveway to get rid of that pesky sand after a fun-filled day at the beach. There is also a shed at the house for storage of any beach/outdoor items.

Summary: Bigger on the inside than it looks, this house is easy to live in. We loved sleeping in the sunroom bed, waking up to views of the trees. The kitchen is great for meal prep, and the large indoor and outdoor tables are perfect for groups. Two notes: one, the living room “futon” is not a literal futon but is rather a couple sections of sofa; two, while the house is clean and pet-free, allergic people should be aware that the mattresses and pillows do not have dust mite encasement. (The cotton sheets are really comfy, though!) The owner is unbelievably responsive and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
