Centrally located on Mount Desert Island, the house is conveniently located, less than 4 miles to main entrance to Acadia National Park and a few miles more to downtown Bar Harbor. Also convenient to other hiking, biking, and water activities on the quiet side of the island. We do not require a Saturday to Saturday rental. If you have ever tried to arrive or leave the island on a Saturday, you know there is a lot of traffic because everyone else is coming and going during that day. We give a discounted rate for weekly or monthly rentals and we will add a mid month cleaning at no additional charge for monthly rentals. You are also dealing directly with the owner, not an agent.

The house has a large kitchen, dining room, living room, and 1/2 bath downstairs with deck and outdoor table. Upstairs is a large master bedroom suite (queen bed) with full bath with shower and separate tub. The suite has an attached bonus room over the garage furnished with a full-sized futon and desk. There are 2 other bedrooms on the other side of the house with another full bath/shower. One of those bedrooms has a queen-sized platform bed, the other has two twin beds. There is a flatscreen TV in each bedroom. The washer and dryer are located upstairs.
The house is located on a private quiet road and is surrounded by trees. Relax outside on the front porch or on the back deck.
