Positive: The cabin and location were lovely. My friends and I loved how cozy the place was and how well set up the kitchen was to make meals and snacks. We loved watching the herds of deer walking through the snow. And the firepit bench swings were great, even in the cold.

Negative: The rules and especially how often they were repeated was a little overbearing. The 15-minute pre-stay phone call was odd, I had never had to do that for any lodging rental before and I felt like the info binder and matching PDF were more than enough to find everything we needed to know. There was also a lot of unnecessary personal information asked for in the HOA forms.

Summary: A cozy weekend stay watching the deer and walking by the lake.
